TOLEDO, OHIO -- Toledo leaders are ready to discuss the future of Southwyck, and they want your advice.
The Toledo-Lucas County Planning Commission is hosting a public meeting Monday night to hear from residents on how to improve the Southwyck neighborhood. The meeting is part of the planning commission's 20/20 land use plan to define how property within the city of Toledo will be used over the next 20 years. Part of the Southwyck neighborhood is the Southwyck Mall which was demolished last year. Plans for the property are still up in the air. The current version of the 20/20 plan defines the Southyck Mall property as an "urban village."
The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God on Glendale Ave.
