State-wide effort to protect Ohio’s senior citizens

A state-wide effort is underway to protect Ohio's senior citizens.

Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray announced a new plan to combat scams and abuse of seniors.

The state is partnering with groups like the Buckeye Sheriff's Association and the Ohio Department of Aging to meet the needs of older adults.

In 2009, Ohio saw an increase in reported cases of the exploitation of seniors.
