ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say an airline passenger died after suffering an apparent heart attack at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

WWJ-AM reports the man was found unresponsive Friday morning in a boarding area of the airport's McNamara Terminal in Romulus.

Airport spokesman Michael Conway says travelers tried to use portable defibrillators to revive the man while emergency crews responded.

The man was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. His name and hometown weren't immediately released.
