NAPOLEON -- Traffic on US 24 is about to rev up.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says they will change signs along a portion of US 24/US 6 on Thursday, increasing the speed limit to 65 miles per hour for passenger vehicles.  The current speed limit is 55 miles per hour.

The affected portion of roadway includes the four-lane section of the Napoleon bypass of US 24 from south of SR 110 to west of Woodlawn Ave. (US 6).

Large motor vehicles, trucks and noncommercial buses will continue to be limited to a speed of 55 mph.
