ROSSFORD, OHIO -- The Rossford High School gymnasium was the site of a silent and live auction to help raise money for Gloria Madden.

Madden is a life long Rossford resident who suffered a stroke in the fall of 2007.  Madden's son Paul, who is an artist and sports memorabilia collector, arranged the auction to raise money needed to pay for repairs to Gloria's home before she can return home.

Madden has a lot of Hollywood connections and his phone calls to  celebrities resulted in  over 200 items being donated to the auction.

ER star John Stamos donated a hospital gown that was signed by the entire cast and the Jonas brothers donated an autographed book.
