SWANTON TWP. -- Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a 15-year-old girl walking along State Route 295 near Soul Road on Thursday night.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Cheyenne Marie Lewis was walking northbound off the right side of the roadway just before 10 p.m. when a "dark colored pickup with a loud exhaust" struck her with the passenger side mirror. Lewis fell to the ground and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The pickup continued northbound and did not stop. No other information could be given by the victim about the vehicle.
