TOLEDO -- In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Imagination Station turned science experiments green. Young scientists were able to make green slime and green snow.

Also, the combustion show was even turned green. The element of copper was placed inside a green balloon, which was then filled with hydrogen. An open flame was held up to the balloon, then exploded with green flames. The copper turned the flames green.

Sara Young, the Director of Marketing, commented on the scientific celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Young said, “what a better way on St. Patrick’s Day then to try to turn everything green.”
