New state crime lab coming to BG

BOWLING GREEN -- Construction on Bowling Green's new Bureau of Criminal Investigation laboratory is expected to begin this summer.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine says the new laboratory will be built at the corner of North College Drive and Leroy Avenue, near Bowling Green State University's science buildings.

DeWine says the new building will allow BCI to continue providing vital laboratory and investigative services for local law enforcement in the Northwest Ohio region.

Construction is expected to be completed by fall of 2014.
