TOLEDO -- On Friday, ProMedica announced the end of flu visitation restrictions at all of its hospitals and long-term care facilities.

ProMedica put the restrictions in place last month in response to an increasing number of flu cases in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

“Fortunately, the number of flu cases in the area have declined,” says Brian Dick, corporate director, ProMedica Infection Prevention and Control. “However, I encourage people to still continue to practice good hand hygiene methods to help reduce the spread of the virus.”
