BEDFORD TWP., MICH. -- The victim of a fatal crash that occurred just north of the Ohio-Michigan state line early Wednesday has been identified as a 31-year-old Temperance man.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Jacob Reprogle was traveling on Jackman Road early Wednesday when his vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Weather, speed and road conditions appear to have been factors in the crash.
Reprogle, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities report he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
