Police working to end standoff with man barricaded in Adrian house

ADRIAN -- Police in Adrian are negotiating with a man who barricaded himself inside a home early this morning and reportedly fired shots.

According to Michigan State Police, two cans of tear gas was fired inside of the home located at 106 Renfrew Street in Adrian near Adrian College.

According to police, the standoff began around 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning when police received a call of a suicidal suspect inside.

Police have blocked off traffic in the neighborhood where the standoff is taking place.
