Hot dog delivery worker slaps gun away during robbery attempt

Toledo police are investigating an armed robbery in the Old South End.

Police say a man approached a Central Hot Dog delivery worker early Monday morning and demanded money.

According to the police report, the worker slapped the gun away and the weapon fired before the crook fled the scene.

No one was hurt and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (419) 255-1111.
