A Toledo mother is now facing another serious charge in connection with the death of her 6-month-old son.

A Lucas County grand jury  charged 25-year-old Amanda Bacon with aggravated murder in the death of Avery Bacon.

Investigators say the mother threw her baby against a hard surface on Dec. 16, causing multiple skull fractures and brain injuries. Avery died two days later.

Bacon had been charged with murder and child endangerment.
