TOLEDO -- Two male suspects who police say struck a 73-year-old woman in the face and stole her bag are still on the loose one week after the robbery.

According to the Toledo police report, the victim was walking to work at the McDonald's on West Alexis Road around 5 a.m. when two men came up behind her and attempted to grab her bag. The woman would not let go of the bag and was struck by one of the suspects in the face, inflicting injury to her nose and mouth. She then let go and was knocked to the ground as the suspects fled the scene with the bag, which contained several personal items, including a debit card and TRAC phone.

The victim then walked the rest of the way to McDonald's, where a coworker called for help. Authorities took her to an area hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (419)-255-1111. The woman said both suspects were about 5'8" and wore dark clothing during the robbery, but was unable to give any other descriptions.
