MADISON TWP., MICH. -- An Adrian woman is dead after a freak accident in a Walmart parking lot.

According to police, a van backing out of a parking space hit a pickup truck, trapping 59-year-old Linda Guzman between the truck and another vehicle on Sunday.

Investigators say the 89-year-old man driving the van hit the accelerator, thinking it was the brake.

Guzman was rushed to the hospital where she died. So far, no charges have been filed.
