The lone resident of a home on Medina Road died in a fatal fire Sunday morning.

HUDSON TWP., MICH. -- A 58-year-old man was found dead after a fire at his home early Sunday.
According to the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Hudson and Morenci fire departments responded to the blaze at 13347 Medina Road just before 7 a.m. The lone resident of the home, Bruce Allen Shipman, was found dead on the first floor of the residence.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
