Drivers are seeing the highest prices on record for the beginning of February.

The retail gasoline prices have surged 17 cents in just one week, topping three dollars and 50 cents a gallon on average. According to Triple A, the national average price of regular is three dollars and 52 cents a gallon. That's four cents higher than the average price during this time last year.

Here in Toledo, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is three dollars and 64 cents, that's a 53 cent increase from a month ago.
