Man found dead in home after violent altercation

MONROE COUNTY -- A Monroe County man is dead Sunday night after being found by police.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says they the body of 50 year old David Killian inside his Ash Township home located on 1149 Carleton-Rockwood Road.

Police say Killian was assaulted and later died from his injuries following a verbal altercation with a man he knew.

Police have arrested and charged a suspect in the murder. Authorities add, both drugs and alcohol appear to be factors.
