OREGON -- The Toledo Refining Company experienced a fire late Wednesday into early Thursday.
According to a release from the Toledo Refining Company, it began around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday in the Fluid Catalytic Cracker, a major gasoline producing unit, at the refinery on Woodville Road. Refinery personnel responded to the fire, and they were assisted by the Oregon Fire Department. By 12:15 a.m. Thursday, the fire was extinguished. No injuries are reported and all personnel is accounted for. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
