A home invasion suspect was shot in Perrysburg Township.

Perrysburg Township police confirm a burglary suspect was shot during a pursuit on Tuesday afternoon, but the shooter was not an officer, authorities said.
Police told WNWO that they were checking out a suspicious situation at a house on Roachton Road when the suspect ran from the home into the woods.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken into custody. Police told our reporter that they did not shoot the suspect, but would not confirm who did.
