ALLEN TWP. -- A Findlay man driving behind a snow plow on CR 220 South was hospitalized Thursday after a road reflector became dislodged from the pavement and struck him through the windshield.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, 53-year-old Philip Beatty was driving behind the plow, operated by 28-year-old Nicolas Stahl, when the plow hit the reflector and sent it flying into the air, breaking through the windshield and striking Beatty.

Beatty was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
