Prostitution sting nets 5 arrests in Wood County

Wood County authorities took five people into custody during an undercover operation at a Rossford area hotel.

Officers arrested 36-year-old Tony Pendergraff of Oregon, 32-year-old Demario Hartfield of Toledo, 49-year-old James Thompson of Temperance, Mich. and 20-year-old Morgan Morris of Monroe for solicitation. Thomas Welch, 26, of Toledo was arrested for complicity to solicitation.

The operation included authorities from the Wood County Sheriff's Office, Rossford Police Department, Perrysburg Township Police Department and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation.
