There's a new king in the Twitterverse.

Justin Bieber has taken over as the most followed person on Twitter getting more followers then Lady Gaga.

As of Tuesday, Bieber had more than 33 million 342 thousand followers. Gaga has about 33 million 226 thousand.

Lady Gaga has been on top of the world in Twitter followers since she surpassed Britney Spears in followers back in August 2010.
