CENTRAL TOLEDO -- Toledo police were called to the scene of a domestic altercation-turned-shooting on Klondike Street early Monday.

According to Sgt. Joe Heffernan, police received a call after 1:20 a.m. about a domestic dispute at 1114 Klondike between Reginald Berry and a woman at the residence. Sgt. Heffernan said the woman's son, David Gordon, came to the house during the altercation and was shot in the leg by Berry.

Gordon was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Berry was taken into custody and charged with felonious assault, assualt and domestic violence.
