DETROIT -- An 85-year-old former mob boss may be providing new clues as to where missing Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa is buried.

Tony Zerilli was in prison when Hoffa vanished from a Detroit area restaurant in 1975. But he's now telling our sister station, WDIV in Detroit, that he was told about Hoffa's whereabouts when he was released from prison.

The ailing Zerilli took a WDIV reporter to a field in Rochester, north of Detroit, where he believes Hoffa was buried.

The FBI is not commenting on his claims, but the former head federal agent in Detroit, Andrew Arena, says the reputed mafia crime captain's remarks deserve serious consideration.

WDIV reports that Zerilli has spoken with the FBI.
