The cold is back to stay
After a spring-like weekend - cold, Canadian high pressure has moved into the region and will be a real slap in the face today and beyond. After a cloudy start we will see gradual clearing and some sunshine breaking out. In spite of the sun a cold wind will develop. Combine the wind with highs in the upper 20's and windchills will spend most of the afternoon in the teens.
The cold airmass hangs around through most of the work week ahead as we'll see highs not getting above the mid 30's any day this week. We could see some snow showers, on the light side, roll through Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Otherwise, the week looks fairly quiet with no big systems headed our way... it's just going to be on the cold side.
Keep those woolens out as our next work week looks even colder than what we'll see this week.
