Sunshine & a dramatic warm-up in store

A ridge of high pressure is developing for the eastern half of the nation.  That means plenty of sunshine in the short term and a nice warm-up lingering into next weekend!

Mostly sunny skies will prevail today.  With light breezes from the soutwest high temps will max out in the upper 30's this afternoon.

The snowpack will be a memory by mid-week as sunshine will dominate, along with blustery, mild winds from the southwest both Tuesday and Wednesday.  High temps will climb into the upper 30's tomorrow and the lower 40's on Wednesday.

We'll start out with some filtered sunshine Thursday morning - but clouds will lower and thicken throughout the day and showers will roll in towards evening.  The mild temps will continue to build in spite of the showers with highs getting into the upper 40's on a rainy Friday.

For the weekend ahead a strong storm system heads out way.  That storm will deliver weekend showers and some big changes for the beginning of next week.

Make it a great day.
