MONROE, MI -- Record sales of the Jeep Wrangler led the Chrysler car company to a solid 2012.  Dave Doster of Yark Chrysler says his showroom can hardly keep them in stock.  "Very hot, we can't get enough Wrangler for inventory," Mr. Doster said.  Wrangler sales were up 16% in 2012; more than 141,000 were sold.  Ralph Mahalak of the Monroe Dodge Superstore credits greater access to financing with helping the  car industry enjoy a resurgence in 2012.  "Improved access to banking, they will actually give you a loan to lease a car," Mr. Mahalak said.

The car industry's focus will soon shift to Detroit for the 2013 NAIAS show which will take place in downtown Detroit  from January 14-January 27.
