Windchills: No picnic

We're kicking off the weekend with some sunshine and the mildest temps we've seen so far this new year.  Unfortunately, winds gusting to 30 MPH from the southwest will make for another cold day.  Highs will get up close to the 30 degree barrier but "feels-like" temps will be in the teens most of the afternoon.

Skies remain mainly clear overnight with lows in the mid and upper teens.  After a morning filled with plenty of sunshine we will see skies cloud up during a windy afternoon as high finally climb above 30 degrees.  Those clouds will begin to deliver some light, scattered show showers Saturday evening and they will continue overnight and through mid-day Sunday with little in the way of accumulation.

We'll trend a little warmer next week as highs finally get above the freezing mark and begin to melt some of the snowpack.

Have a great weekend!
