Starting today, Starbucks chains across the nation are selling reusable cups for one dollar.

Any customers who use the cup or any other reusable container can get a ten cent discount for each refill, as well as a boiling water cleanse for the container.

Starbucks tested the effort in 600 Pacific Northwest stores starting last October, and in November, saw a 26 percent boost in reusable cup usage compared to the same month in 2011.
