Deal News has compiled a list of 12 things that will be more expensive in 2013.

1. Cars - gas prices may be falling, but cars that run on it are getting more expensive.

2. Groceries - meat, poultry, and dairy prices are all expected to rise, all thanks to this summer's drought.

3. Cereal - cereal and bakery product prices will rise too, as a result of the 2012 drought and lower wheat yields.

4. Health care - Obamacare not withstanding, employee health care premiums are expected to rise an average of 6% in 2013.

5. TVs - Ultra HD TVs, which include an extremely high-pixel density, will sell for $20,000 to $25,000.

6. Computers - computers are returning to their original function as work-related machines, albeit more powerful and expensive.

7. Beer - copper prices are on the rise, which is used in the equipment that makes liquor and beer.

8. Smartphones - in 2013 T-Mobile will eliminate subsidies and will charge full price for its phones.

10. College

11. iPhone 5 - because the dock connector is different, so is the price for all the needed accessories.
