According to the police affidavit, Avery Glynn Bacon was taken to an area hospital with multiple skull fractures by his mother after she reportedly threw him on Sunday night. He was later taken by Life Flight to Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan with severe brain damage. The infant died around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
