TOLEDO -- Today marks the 284th consecutive day without measurable snow in Toledo.  This is the longest stretch without anything over a trace of snowfall at Toledo Express Airport since at least 1891, when snowfall records started to be kept at Toledo's "official" weather observation site.  With people out jogging walking their dogs and playing golf today seemed more like mid-March than mid-December.  Toledo resident Paul Reineck and his wife were in Ottawa Park walking their dog Milton.  "I do miss the snow, though I don't like driving in it but it would be nice to get some snow at Chrismastime," Mr. Reineck said.

The all time record for snow in Toledo is February 2011 when 25.3 inches fell.
