Reality TV is here to stay...like it or not.

And in an ever growing and competitive market, networks are scrambling to find the next "Duck Dynasty" or Honey Boo Boo.

Enter "Best Funeral Ever" which has been green-lighted by TLC.

According to Entertainment Weekly's "InsideTV", the network has ordered a pilot episode that will follow the behind-the-scenes efforts of an unconventional funeral parlor in Dallas, Texas.

They report "At the Golden Gate Funeral Home, Dallas-based funeral director John Beckwith, Jr.works with the families to create a central theme for a memorial and then throws a wild party."

"Examples include a Christmas-inspired funeral complete with reindeer, elves and snow, and a singer known for his famous rib sauce jingle remembered at a BBQ-themed funeral — including live pigs, praise dancers, and a BBQ sauce fountain where loved ones dip a ceremonious rib to say goodbye.

“We’re going to make these families extremely happy at the worst moments of their lives,” Beckwith says.

The episode will air the day after Christmas, Dec. 26, and is produced by Park Slope Productions.

A teaser trailer for the show can be seen here.
