Pedestrian struck, killed by car in Wauseon

Wauseon police have identified the pedestrian killed after being hit by a car on Enterprise Avenue early Friday.

According to the news release, Dariel Morales was walking northbound on Enterprise around 6:44 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Doug Kutzli of Wauseon. Officers discovered Morales in the roadway with serious, life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a Fulton County hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
