Around 8,400 City Versa Baby Jogger strollers are being recalled in the U.S. due to a fall hazard. 2,200 are being recalled in Canada.
According to Market Watch, the stroller frame can fail to lock in place and collapse while in use. Consumers should stop using the stroller and contact Baby Jogger for a free replacement stroller frame. You can call toll-free at (877) 506-2213, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.babyjogger.com and click on "Recall Information" at the bottom of the page. You can also send them an email at recall@babyjogger.com.
To date, Baby Jogger has received six reports of such cases. No injuries have been reported.
