Temps falling into the 30's this afternoon

After a soaker of a weekend we will dry things out at the surface today.  That is the good news.  The bad: temps tumble as we head through the day and the cool, dry airmass sinks into the region.  We saw early highs in the low and mid 40's with pockets of drizzle and fog before dawn.  A cold front moved through and has wisked the moisture to the east - but the drier air behind the front is chilly and we will actually see the mercury fall into the mid 30's by late afternoon/early evening.  With some wind the feels-like temperatures will be dropping into the upper 20's this afternoon.  Clouds will hang tought today and it will look and feel rather raw so do bundle up before heading out.

Skies remain mostly cloudy overnight with lows in the upper 20's.  Another cool day is on tap Tuesday with partly sunny skies and highs, near normal, in the upper 30's.

BIG improvements are in store for the rest of the work week as sunshine returns Wednesday and sticks with us into the beginning of the weekend.  Skies will be mostly sunny Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with highs in the low and mid 40's.

Enjoy that sunshine as it looks like we will be seeing more rain over a weekend - the upcoming weekend:(((
