Weekend weather only a duck can love
There is not a lot to talk about weatherwise - especially since this is the weekend forecast. Unfortunately, the news is not bright and is actually rather dreary as we have a prolonged period of damp, messy weather. You're going to want to keep your umbrella handy as today's forecast calls for periods of scattered showers with highs maxing out in the mid 40's this afternoon. The rain will not be particularly heavy and widespread - but the threat for showers will be persistent.
The reason I mentioned earlier that there isn't a lot to talk about weatherwise is that we can expect more of the same both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 40's, lows in the upper 30's and lower 40's and the threat of scattered, hit and miss showers sticks around right into Monday morning. So the umbrella should be kept at the ready through Monday. This will be a great weekend to hunker down at the kitchen table and do all that wrapping of presents we usually save for the last minute.
We'll finally change things up on Monday. After some morning showers a drier, cooler airmass moves in out of Canada during the afternoon to finally dry us out and cool things down.
Stay warm and dry and have a great weekend!
