TOLEDO -- Toledo city councilman Michael Collins issued a new round of criticisms against Mayor Mike Bell this week.  On Monday the District 2 councilman issued a press release detailing a series of questions that he sent to Mayor Mike Bell and the answers to those questions.  Collins labeled "most of the answers as non-responsive".   In an interview with WNWO in his office on the 22nd floor of One Government Center the first questioned posed to Collins was whether he considered the Bell administration transparent.  "No, it's absolutely not transparent," Mr. Collins said.

For weeks Collins has been asked repeatedly if he will run for mayor next year. "If there is an effort in the community for me to take up this challenge then that is a discussion we will have but unless that happens then the answer is no," Mr. Collins said.

Mayor Bell was not available for comment on Thursday.
