If you like sunshine soak it up today

High pressure noses in today and will deliver plenty of sunshine, a bit of a southwesterly wind and highs finally climbing above normal.  Some filtered sunshine this morning gives way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon.  Winds from the southwest at 10 to 20 mph will deliver highs getting into the mid 40's.

Disturbances well out to our southwest will usher in some clouds overnight.  Under partly cloudy skies lows fall into the lower 30's by sunrise Friday.  In spite of more clouds streaming in to the region temps continue to get warmer.  We'll kickoff the weekend Friday with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid and upper 40's.

The weekend will be even warmer with highs getting 10 to 15 degrees above normal - which are in the lower 40's.  Saturday looks to be dry with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 50's.  Sunday will not be a wash out but will offer periods of hit and miss showers... high temps soar into the mid and upper 50's.
