ALVADA -- An 82-year-old driver and her 89-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after traveling off Township Road 56 and striking a culvert.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Marian Reinhart was driving eastbound on TR 56 when she hit the culvert off the roadway and overturned. Reinhart and her passenger, Rose Hare, were transported to a Toledo hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries. Their conditions have not been released at this time.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
