PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP -- Area residents can help in saving the lives of their neighbors.  Owens Community College and the American Red Cross are hosting a community blood drive today, November 27, 2012.

From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., Owens employees, students, and area residents are encouraged to donate at the Student Health and Activities Center.  The Blood Drive will be staffed by Owens surgical technology and sterile processing student classes.

Qualified donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds.  Please also bring a picture ID.
