TOLEDO -- This Saturday is the Ohio State - Michigan game, and local businesses are teaming up to remind you that, at this time of year, not everyone in our community has a reason to celebrate.
Many are hungry, and you can put that spirit behind your favorite team to good use for the community. Dave White Chevrolet and The Buckeye Store and More are holding a Border Battle Food Drive at their locations. Throughout this week, customers can "vote" for their favorite team and bring a non-perishable item to put in either the OSU or the Michigan food donation bin.
The Buckeye Store and More is located at 5700 Monroe Street in Sylvania, and Dave White Chevrolet is at 5880 Monroe Street.
The food drive is part of the "Fall Harvest Food Drive," with the goal to provide 80,000 meals.
