School celebrates 50th anniversary

Several other events are planned throughout the year to celebrate 50 years of excellence.

OREGON -- Eisenhower Middle School is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an open house Tuesday.

It's scheduled from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the school located on North Curtice Road.

Organizers are hoping to commemorate its history by pulling out old archives and uniforms, and decorating the halls with a photo slideshow.

The school was dedicated on Nov. 11, 1962.
