Toledo Police are investigating a single vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Friday afternoon,

Authorities say 65-year-old Ralph McGee, of Hillsdale, was hit along the 4400 block of Monroe at 6:05 p.m.

Officials say McGee “ran out into the roadway”, from the south side of the street, and into the path of 18-year-old Kevin Kretz’s vehicle.

McGee was then taken by Life squad to Toledo Hospital for treatment.

A press release, issued by TPD, did not disclose the severity of McGee’s injuries.
