Cool today... better things, like warmth, ahead

In spite of some sunshine today it will be another cool one with highs a good 10 degrees below normal.  Skies will be partly sunny today and with light winds from the southeast highs get into the mid 40's this afternoon.

A weak disturbance heads our way overnight and give us a shot at a few light showers or wet snow flakes - no big deal here with the impact.  We'll start out your Wednesday with some clouds but see them gradually diminish as we get into the afternoon.  It'll be warmer with highs near 50 degrees Wednesday afternoon.

Things look really good as we get into the later part of the work week and weekend.  Sunshine breaks out on Thursday and will stick around through at least Sunday.  High temps will continue to rise - from the lower and mid 50's on Thursday into the lower 60's over the weekend.

Have a great election day - no weather issues to hamper your empowering right to vote.  No matter the outcome at the ballot box - you can look forward to some better weather coming our way just in time for the weekend.
