Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has joined-in on efforts to locate a "Habitual Sex Offender" who has been on the run since September.

In 2002, Larry Carlton was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition and as part of his sentence was required to register his address with police once a year for at least twenty years.

However, records show the 29-year-old has a habit of non-compliance and was convicted for Failure to Verify a Current Address in 2008 and Failure to provide a Change of Address in 2011.

He was also convicted of a parole violation in 2006.

Carlton last registered himself at 1409 Upton Avenue in Toledo and is described as being 6'2" and 180 pounds.

He also has two tattoos on his upper right arm, including an image of playing cards and the word "Tyvon."

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446).

Those with tips can also call the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 866-4-WANTED (866-492-6833) or use their text tip line, TIP411 (Keyword: WANTED).
