TOLEDO -- Icy conditions are to blame for two fatal accidents in Northwest Ohio.

First in Fulton County, where state troopers say before 9am Monday morning 56-year-old Tina Goodwin lost control on an ice covered bridge on US-20A west of County Road 12.  Her vehicle hit a pick up truck.

Goodwin, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.   The other driver suffered non life threatening injuries.

About a half hour before that accident, Putnam County Sheriff's deputies responded to a fatal crash on State Route 115 just north of State Route 64.

Deputies say 22-year-old Dustin Brown lost control on an icy bridge and hit a van.  Brown died at the scene.  The driver and passenger of the van were not seriously hurt.
