FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along State Route 66 and County Road L in Franklin Township, Fulton County.
Investigators say, around 6:30 a.m., 54-year-old Jackie Frey was pronounced dead at Fulton County Health Center following the crash.
A little over a half hour earlier, Frey had been riding a motorcycle Northbound on State Route 66.
Officials say 61-year-old Roy Vires of Fayette had been traveling in the other direction, at the same time, when he tried to turn left on to County Road L.
As a result Frey hit Vires pick-up truck and was ejected into a nearby grassy area.
Authorities say it is unclear if Frey was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Toledo Post.
