Unemployment rate drops in Ohio

COLUMBUS -- Positive news about the state's unemployment rate.  After three straight months of no movement, the rate has gone down.

According to the Department of Jobs and Family Services, the unemployment rate dropped to 7% last month, down from 7.2% the previous three months,

The state's rate remains below the national average of 7.8%.

The number of unemployed Ohio workers fell by 7,000 last month.
